Fall Apple Smoothie


1 handful leafy greens (spinach, kale, collards all work great!)
1-2 apples, cored
1 ripe banana
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
8 oz milk (cow, almond, coconut or your favorite alternative)
pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg, to taste
1 tsp honey (optional)


Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more or less milk for desired consistency.
