Remembering The Market Community and Legacy

A memorial garden area was established in 2019  at the Yanceyville Street at the Market. The installation was led by Executive Director Lee Mortensen with the help of the Greensboro Permaculture Guild, dozens of community volunteers, and funding from the NC Herb Society, the Richardson Fund, and founder David Craft. This dynamic growing space features an herb spiral honoring GFM founder Eric C. Calhoun as well as native NC plantings in honor of founder Pat Bush and market friends, customers and vendors to  be enjoyed by all.
Donations are welcome to support the Meditation Garden maintenance and improvements in honor of a loved one:  https://www.gsofarmersmarket.org/support/
