Have you ever looked at a whole chicken and thought, “I’d buy those if I knew what to do with them?”

Now’s your chance to learn.

Your Experince

Join us for a FREE, hands-on Chicken Fabrication Workshop led by local farmer and chef April Rivas of Rivas Ranch.

Whole chickens are often one of the most affordable ways to purchase chicken, but many families avoid them because they aren’t comfortable breaking them down. This workshop teaches practical skills that can help stretch grocery dollars, reduce food waste, and build confidence in the kitchen.

During this workshop you’ll learn:

  • 8-piece chicken breakdown
  • Chicken crown/roast
  • Spatchcock chicken
  • How to package your finished cuts to take home

This is a true hands-on workshop, not a demonstration. Participants will work with their own chickens throughout the class.
